Donations are rolling in, and we’re aiming high with a $20,000 goal to support Child and Family Services of Grand Erie!

This year, we’re thrilled to have the Brantford Titans and Paris Titans Hockey Club graciously supporting our event.

We’re thrilled to announce that the Brantford Titans and Paris Titans hockey clubs have chosen our 20th Annual Alford Family Toy Drive as their charitable event to support this year!

Donation boxes and tables will be set up at their games—so if you’re attending, there'll be a QR code there for monetary donation, bring a toy or gift card to help make a child’s holiday brighter.

The snow this week can only mean one thing. The 20th Annual Alford Family Toy Drive is approaching fast!

Here are the key details:

📅 Date: Friday, December 5th
🕛 Time: Noon to 7:00 p.m.

This year, we’ve set an ambitious goal of $20,000 to support Child and Family Services of Grand Erie. While new, unwrapped toys are still welcomed and appreciated, the focus is on cash and gift card donations.

Why Cash and Gift Cards?
Child and Family Services is shifting toward this approach to empower caregivers and parents. It allows them to personally select gifts that are meaningful and appropriate for their children—restoring dignity and creating a more personalized holiday experience.

At the event, we’ll have technology available to process donations easily.

Thank you to all who contributed to the 19th Annual Alford Family Toy Drive. The numbers are down compared to previous year however given the current economical times this was to be expected. Overall this year was an amazing success as always.

If you missed the Toy Drive and still wish to contribute, don't worry there is still time to donate, and still a huge need. Here's how you can help;

Do you remember the excitement, with zero sleep, waking up Christmas morning to see a Christmas tree stacked with presents? We certainly do, but there unfortunately children in our own community that don't get to experience this amazing feeling.

Join us this friday, November 29th starting at 12 noon for our 19th annual Toy Drive and Open House. Stop by the office for some fellowship and Christmas cheer. All we ask is that you bring a new unwrapped toy. All proceeds are in support of Child and Family Services of Grand Erie Foundation and their amazing "Season of Sharing" program.
