Through our management agreement with Six Nations of the Grand River, 40% of our annual profits are transferred to Elected Council to help address community priorities.

In 2025, those funds were allocated to Six Nations Parks and Recreation to resurface the blue running track, purchase a new Zamboni, upgrade the sports field lighting, and replace the roof on the main building. Additional funding will also support upgrades to the ball diamonds in Fall 2026.

Our Board Chair, Rachel Martin, recently had the opportunity to tour these completed improvements alongside Cheryl Henhawk, Senior Manager of Recreation for Six Nations of the Grand River.

These improvements are made possible through the continued success of our business operations and our commitment to creating lasting community benefits. By generating sustainable revenue, we are able to support meaningful infrastructure improvements that strengthen our community and contribute to long-term prosperity.

As we continue celebrating the launch of the Six Nations Group brand, we were honoured to present a $1,000 donation to Kayanase's Turtle Nest Rescue Program.

The turtle holds deep cultural significance, reminding us of our responsibility to care for the land and to protect it for future generations. That meaning is reflected in our new logo, where the turtle symbolizes steady, purposeful progress and moving forward with intention.

Kayanase's Turtle Nest Rescue Program rescues vulnerable turtle eggs, incubates and hatches them, raises the hatchlings, and releases them back into their natural habitat. This program has grown to support surrounding communities, helping protect turtle populations across the region.

As we celebrate our new brand, we're proud to support a program that reflects our shared values of environmental stewardship, community, and caring for future generations.

Six Nations Group was once again proud to support The Red Barn Summer Camp through the Oneida Energy Storage Community Impact Fund. To date, this fund has provided over $362,000 in support to the Six Nations community.

Through this sponsorship, we covered the registration costs for 150 Six Nations youth, ages 9–14, giving them the opportunity to attend Red Barn over the past few weeks.

Since 1967, Red Barn has provided youth with opportunities to learn traditional Haudenosaunee crafts and skills, including beading, basket making, moccasin making, wood burning, and much more. We are honoured to help support a program that continues to strengthen culture, build connections, and inspire future generations.
