I can speak first hand on how much easier it is to collect dividends than it is to collect rent. This is a great read if you're considering becoming a landlord. Historical returns on the stock market doubles that found in real estate. Also, no rent cheques to chase down, and no big mess to clean out when someone moves out.

That being said being a landlord will probably be my long term second job. It can diversify your income and over other benefits. But its exactly that a second job. Know what your getting into before you jump in.

Do low fees mean greater investment returns? Performance after fees make the biggest difference to your wealth goals.

Fees don't tell the whole story. Having good advice could save you more than the fees you paid in the long run. Or keep you on track when markets are volatile.

Finally an ad that goes against the misleading information on fees that has been all over the place. I think a true measure is value for the fees you pay.
