August 20th → September 3rd.
Less than two weeks.
That was the timeline we had to get a mortgage approved AND closed so that a family could get their daughter into her new home in time to start university.
Was it easy? Definitely not.
There were hurdles. There were changes. There were some very long days and a lot of moving pieces behind the scenes.
But we kept going.
We looked at the options, worked through the challenges, found a solution and, on September 3rd, THEY CLOSED!
Their daughter was able to move into her new home and start her first week of university as planned.
This one took a team, and I have to give a huge shout-out to Maria Diaz. I truly could not have done it without her. Maria was pivotal in keeping everything moving and getting this deal across the finish line, especially while I was away for the closing.
Sometimes a mortgage is about much more than an approval.
Sometimes it is about a deadline, a family and getting a university student into her new home in time for the first day of an exciting new chapter.
Two weeks. Mortgage approved. Deal closed. Mission accomplished.
