☔️ Spring in Ontario often brings elevated water levels, and many areas are currently under flood watches or warnings.💡Important to know: while these warnings are active, insurance companies cannot add or change water damage coverages, including sewer/septic/sump pump backup, overland water (flooding from rivers or surface water), and ground water or rising of the water table. That makes now the right time to: understand what coverage you actually have, learn what options might exist for you in the future, and plan a policy review once warnings are lifted being informed as one of the best tools homeowners have during flood season. 🌦️
