Yes, I have a jumble of letters after my name! What they all really mean is I am a Chartered Accountant that holds a financial planner designation with specialized knowledge in retirement planning and an understanding of business. As a Chartered Accountant my work felt very narrow in how I supported my clients. I was drawn to financial planning because it allows me to work with all of the moving p

arts of a person’s financial well-being and provide support and expertise at a much deeper level. I love my job as a financial planner because I am compelled by complex financial situations and the level of detail and knowledge they require. I am very passionate about helping people who are experiencing transition in their lives whether that be due to divorce, retirement, business succession, injury, disability or death of a loved one. I feel enormous satisfaction from figuring out the course of action that generates the best outcome for my clients and explaining it all in a simple way. When it is time to shut my brain down, I spend time in nature soaking up the sunshine, going for walks, practicing yoga, watching documentaries and reading anything I can get my hands on. I am fortunate to spend time with my extended family and my dog that behaves like a cat and my cat that truly believes he is a dog! Talking about money doesn’t have to be a difficult conversation. Let me do the heavy lifting and the rest will be easy.
