Big move for our team and more importantly, for our clients.
I’m excited to welcome Liz Sharpe to NewGround Financial Inc. as our new Client Services Lead in Group Benefits.

Liz brings over 20 years of experience in the employee benefits space, most recently on the carrier side. We’ve worked closely together for years, and I’ve seen firsthand how she operates: sharp, accountable, and relentlessly focused on doing right by the client.

This isn’t just a hire. It’s a step-change in how we deliver service.
Most firms talk about client experience. Liz has spent her career actually executing it, solving problems quickly, navigating complexity, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Welcome to the team, Liz Sharpe!

We love supporting sectors that give back to our community! Sponsoring and presenting at the Nursing Homes of Nova Scotia conference lets us connect with sector leaders, share insights on employee benefits, smooth operations, and promote financial health and well-being for both leaders and their teams.

I’m thrilled to share that NewGround Financial Inc. has officially acquired Performance Plus Financial Inc. (PPFG). This marks an exciting new chapter for both our teams — one rooted in shared values, deep expertise, and a strong commitment to client success.

We have long admired the reputation and legacy of PPFG, and we’re honoured to carry that forward. Our goal is simple: to continue serving clients with the same dedication they've come to expect, while unlocking new opportunities and added value through our combined strengths.

To the clients, partners, and team members joining us — welcome! We’re excited to grow together.

Here’s to a bright future. 💼🚀
