I just got back from a retreat in Muskoka yesterday, and it was so nice to disconnect and take in nature for a few days.

Good morning!! Feeling those fall vibes! Hot drink, cozy sweater!

I have discovered the Banana Bread Chai Latte at Starbucks this fall and found a way to make it a hot latte (they do it as iced). It is soooooo good!!! What is your favourite fall drink?? From anywhere! I would love to know. I love moving around to work!

Each of these vehicles can play a different role in your investment portfolio. Which one is best for you?

TFSAs are often marketed as great investment vehicles for short term objectives but they are valuable to have in your retirement portfolio. If you want to draw a large sum of money at retirement but all of your money is invested into an RRSP, you can only withdraw a certain amount without paying withholding tax.

When looking at investing for your future wealth.. what one should you use?

It is good to have both if it makes sense for you. One for an income and one for withdrawing larger sums from, be it for a trip, a house repair, whatever the need may be.

If someone is making less than $50,000 per year than an RRSP may not be the best option for them. An RRSP will generate a tax rebate and the higher tax bracket you are in, the better. If you find yourself in a high tax bracket, there are definite advantages to an RRSP.

If you are in a lower tax bracket, a TFSA will likely be the way to go until you are earning more.

September for me is a reset. I have a little one who is super social so she is excited to go but I am also looking forward to the refocus. Of course I keep working through the summer, but you entrepreneurial Mamas know what I mean.
