There's still time to apply - the 2026 AFM Scholarship Program closes in four weeks.

We're awarding up to $30,000 in scholarships to children of AFM policyholders attending college, university, trades school, or apprenticeship programs.

This year we're asking: As a generation shaped by digital experience, help us understand the best ways to share information about insurance and reach the next generation of policyholders. What technologies or tools would you want from an insurance provider, and where should AFM always keep the human touch, no matter what?

September is almost here, and with it comes school buses, crowded crosswalks, and busy morning drop-offs. It's the perfect time of year for drivers and students to sharpen up on road safety.

Here's a few of our top tips to help everyone get back to school safely:

🔵 Stop for flashing red lights and the extended stop arm
🔵 Stay at least 20 metres (about five car lengths) behind a stopped bus
🔵 Slow down in school zones
🔵 Teach kids to look all ways before crossing in front of the bus

🔹 Have a deep understanding of P&C insurance, from regulations to quality reviews
🔹 Hold a CIP, CRM, or similar designation
