Have you noticed how we crave ease and freedom, but habits that feel good don't lead to what we need?
Yes, making a budget is hard and boring, BUT it provides the ease and freedom you and I need. The result will always come, and it will either a good one or a bad one. The part is easy.
As you plug away at your job or business and rake in the precious dollars that you need for your lifestyle, I encourage you to make a decision to do some hard things with your money today, so you can enjoy ease, freedom, and options later.
Budget - tell your money where to go and keep your expenses lower than your income.
Emergency fund - save for a rainy day and resist the urge for that rainy day to be a vacation you have to have because you're stressed.
Invest - make your money work and grow for you because that's the smart way to live, AND you need your money to grow beyond inflation
Plan - for retirement, it's coming whether you want it to or not. You will need money for retired life, a lot of it. So you need to set up tax-efficient strategies for that.
