BUILDING MATERIAL MOTSHELO
This Motshelo initiative is for building material only. We gonna be buying building material on rotational monthly basis for 12 months that everyone receives their share. This Motshelo is open to everyone who is willing and able to pop out P1000 or P2000 per month for 12 months consistently.
WHY THIS MOTSHELO
We have successfully ran this initiative for the year 2022 with groups - tried, tested and trusted. This Motshelo will commence in January 2023 and the aim is to help an individual at home to fulfill their dream, to build their house, fence that farm, finish that parent's house, fence that plot etc. It also helps you to cultivate the culture of saving and being consistent towards achieving your goal. (building goal).
REQUIREMENTS
You first pay a joining fee of P300 (banking details will be shared below which you will reference your name) and you will then be added to a group that will consist of 12 people of your choice between P1000 or P2000 (depending on what you choose). They will all get their share of being bought the building material over 12 months. *This will be first come first serve basis* until we reach the deadline (24/01/2023) or we reach the number of groups that we want to manage. After that no one will be added.
HOW IT WORKS
We have a lawyer who will be assisting in any legal issue. This leads to say you will be given a legal KYC form to fill for anti-money laundry and territorism financing. And we will need your ID copy, proof of employment or affidavit for income. There will also be a constitution that will be shared with you. It will cover what you have to do, how to do it, what happens when you pass on, you want to leave and other things.
Every month (January to December) there will be group of people from the 12 per group people who will be getting their building material.
ADMINISTRATION
All the administration will be from the office with 2 admin personnel who will keep records of each group payments, reconcile payments and making transactions to the beneficiaries with the help of group treasurers. This is to help efficiently and effectively of the Motshelo to avoid issues of theft, damage and no payments.
The 12 people in the group will be organized as to who is their turn per all the 12 months until everyone has benefited fully. Any other logistics will be handled at group level.
