Mission Statement
To empower students by bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world practice, equipping them with practical financial, professional, and entrepreneurial skills through immersive learning experiences and industry exposure. It intends on doing so through the following ways
1.Imparting skills this is where we provide our members and society with financial literacy skil
ls that they should ideally implement into their lives and harness the best out of these skills such that we become a society of entrepreneurs and not employees only.
2.Practical literacy using theoretical base of financial literacy and turning it into practical foundation, as well as exploring the feasibility of the theories we preach
3.Changing attitude for financial efficiency having dynamic, versatile and unstatic attitudes towards economical basics and environment to adapt to the ever oceanic financial harbour. Embracing the "if it has not been done yet it still can be done" mindset to build attitudes that can handle expectations, achievements, failure and challenges
4.Financial breakthrough the society should be a platform with which members use to seize financial future one should have made, saved, invested money at the end of the schooling years promotion of spirit of entrepreneurship Membership payment if P50 each semester grants full membership As a member of UBFS what role do I play? -volunteer for tasked -be a team player -be an ambassador for 4 UBFS -build the society by adding value to it -bring a friend to the society -pay membership -support initiatives -be yourself, laugh, learn, be outspoken -Provide services for the society -come for meetings and activities all the time -make the society work for you
