4 per 1000" Initiative meeting
I joined the "4 per 1000" Initiative meeting a bit late due to load shedding, but I learned a lot from the remaining agenda. Unfortunately, I couldn't contribute much as I forgot to bring my notes. However, the meeting discussed the following:
1. **Approval of the Last Meeting Report**: This ensured continuity and accountability, allowing the group to build on previous discussions and decisions.
2. **Approval of New Partners and Members Applications**: Expanding the network with new partners and members brought fresh perspectives, resources, and energy to the initiative, fostering growth and innovation.
3. **Meetings and Conferences Planned for 2024**: Organizing and co-organizing events enhanced visibility, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the agro-industry community. These events also attracted more stakeholders and increased engagement.
4. **Decision on New Members of the Scientific and Technical Committee**: Bringing in new experts invigorated the committee with new ideas and expertise, which was crucial for the initiative's scientific and technical advancements.
5. **Preparation of the 8th "4 per 1000" Day Online**: This event was a significant opportunity to showcase achievements, share knowledge, and engage with a broader audience. Preparing well in advance ensured a successful and impactful event.
6. **Implementation of Strategy and Next Steps in 2024**: Discussing and planning the implementation of strategies ensured that the initiative remained focused and aligned with its goals. It also helped in setting clear objectives and milestones for the coming year.
Overall, this agenda reflected a proactive and strategic approach, which was essential for the continued success and impact of the "4 per 1000" initiative. It showed a commitment to growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement, all of which were vital for achieving long-term goals.
Thank you to the “4 per 1000” Bureau for organizing this insightful meeting. I look forward to our next gathering in November for further discussions and collaboration
