The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Seapa) has started the process of accreditation of startups that can use the infrastructure of the Government of Minas during the International Coffee Week (SIC). The event will be held from November 20 to 22, at Expominas, in Belo Horizonte.

Developed in partnership with the Secretariat of Economic Development (Headquarters), the purpose of the process is to bring together startups that have technology solutions already finalized and implemented, with the potential to bring positive impacts to the coffee production chain in Minas Gerais.

According to Seapa's technical advisor, Manoela Teixeira de Oliveira, the obligation to present ready-made technological solutions aims to provide the immediate possibility of doing business during the three days of SIC 2019.

The startups made up of legal entities may participate in the accreditation. Interested parties should fill out the form on this link and submit their proposals by November 11th. Each startup may submit only one innovative technological solution proposal. “This will allow a viable division of time for other accredited ventures,” explains Seapa's advisor.

The date, time and presentation time will be divided according to the number of accredited startups and defined by lot, which can be accompanied by anyone interested. The proposals will be evaluated, in an open session for the interested public, on November 12 at 9 am in the Administrative City, General Building, 10th floor, room 5.

The production of nuts by the Paiter Suruí, Cinta Larga and Sakyrabiat indigenous communities in the Cacoal region of Rondônia could reach 300 tons in 2019, the largest harvest in recent years.

Futures for Arabica coffee traded slightly lower Monday afternoon (21) on the New York Stock Exchange (ICE Futures US). The market reverses gains from early work and focuses on currency fluctuations.
