CrediMax, a leading provider of electronic payment solutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Unipal on the sidelines of Fintech Forward 2026 to explore integrating Unipal’s platform with CrediMax’s point-of-sale terminals.
The agreement will examine the requirements for making the proposed integration available to participating merchants, reflecting CrediMax’s commitment to developing solutions that address business needs and advance Bahrain’s digital payments ecosystem.
Today, redeeming an offer and paying for a purchase are separate moments. The two parties will study how to bring them together, creating a futuristic redemption experience that would be the first of its kind in the Kingdom.
The MoU establishes a framework for assessing the technical feasibility, design and scope of the proposed integration, including the possibility of a pilot or proof of concept. It also covers the commercial and operational terms of any future offering, allowing both parties to develop a thorough understanding of implementation requirements and their suitability for merchants’ businesses.
