To mark World Diabetes Day, Bahrain National Life Assurance organized an awareness session in partnership with Al Salam Hospital, titled ‘Mental Health and Diabetes’, for employees of the Central Bank of Bahrain. The session aimed to raise awareness about the connection between mental health and diabetes, and how it can impact overall well-being.

Participants were educated on the role of mental well-being in managing chronic conditions like diabetes, as well as its potential influence on the development of the disease. In addition to providing valuable health insights, the session also included blood glucose tests and blood pressure check-ups to help employees monitor their health

بمناسبة اليوم العالمي لمرض السكري، نظمت شركة البحرين الوطنية للتأمين على الحياة جلسة توعية بالشراكة مع مستشفى السلام بعنوان “الصحة النفسية والسكري” لموظفي مصرف البحرين المركزي. وكان من أبرز أهداف الجلسة زيادة الوعي حول العلاقة بين الصحة النفسية و داء السكري، وكيف يمكن أن تؤثر الصحة النفسية على الصحة الجسدية وكيفية إدارة الحالات المزمنة مثل مرض السكري من خلال العناية بالصحة النفسية.

واشتملت الفعالية على أنشطة صحية شهدت إقبالاً كبيراً من موظفي مركز البحرين المصرفي، حيث قام الفريق الطبي بأجراء فحوصات لمستوى السكر وضغط الدم. وتأتي هذه المبادرة، كجزء من التزام البحرين الوطنية للتأمين على الحياة ببناء مجتمع صحي قوي وتعزيز الصحة العامة مع تشجيع الأنماط الصحية السليمة.
