🌹 Rosa Damascena bringing cultures together 🇧🇬🇯🇵
We had a wonderful and inspiring meeting with Mrs. Fumie Yamash*ta, the Bulgarian Rose Cultural Association, and the Mayor of Pavel Banya. We discussed how to connect Pavel Banya and Yokohama through the beauty and tradition of Bulgarian roses.
Roses symbolize gratitude, friendship, peace, and health—values that truly unite us across cultures. 🌍
Excited about the outcomes ahead: more awareness in Japan, growing international recognition for Pavel Banya, stronger youth connections, and new opportunities for tourism and long-term collaboration.
Looking forward to strengthening this beautiful friendship between Bulgaria and Japan. 🤝

Bulgarian Rose Working Group 2026 🌹

Proud to once again be part of the Bulgarian Rose Working Group, led by UEBT, together with UNICEF, leading F&F companies, and partners across the value chain.
At Enio Bonchev, sustainability is not new — it’s how we work. These meetings help us align, challenge ourselves, and keep improving together.
Key reflections: 🔹 Continuous improvement in how we manage risk — including the risk of inaction
🔹 Collaboration across the supply chain is essential
🔹 Strong systems exist, but alignment is key
🔹 Real progress comes through practical, shared actions

🌱 Sustainable agriculture starts with informed growers and grows through collaboration 🤝

This year, we welcomed 55 of our rose growers to our fields for our annual seminar, representing 70% of our supplier network and 85% of our total rose blossom volume, together with partners from NGOs and UEBT 🌹

We shared hands‑on regenerative farming practices that support healthier soils, biodiversity, and long‑term resilience, talked openly about key industry challenges like labor shortages, market pressure, and climate change, and discussed the importance of human rights, safe working conditions, and the responsible use of plant protection products. We also exchanged insights ahead of the upcoming rose campaign, ending the day with great conversations over a relaxed barbecue 😊

Grateful for the dedication of everyone involved and already looking ahead to the 2026 harvest 🌸
