BRIKS is a Belgian investment club for students engaged in value investing. BRIKS was founded in 2011 by four entrepreneurial engineering students and has as mission to bring ambitious students and investors together in order to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and contacts. BRIKS consists of two branches:

15 years of BRIKS. 🎉

What started as a bold idea of 4 students in the small city of Leuven, has grown into a family
counting almost 130 members across continents. We celebrated this milestone the only way we know how: together. A padel tournament at Royal Zoute Tennis Club, followed by a standing dinner and drinks at River Woods, looking back on 15 years of BRIKS. ☀🎾

It wasn’t really about the matches or the scoreboard. It was about the faces on the court, the stories over dinner, and a community that keeps growing stronger every year. 15 years in, and it still feels like day one. Let’s reminisce. 📸

Last Thursday we hosted a case day with Jefferies 🏦
Working in groups, the participants tackled real M&A scenarios and presented directly to the Jefferies team, followed by networking drinks to close out the evening. Big thank you to the Jefferies Amsterdam team! 🥂

Morgane Van Ende shares how the Jefferies M&A Case Competition was a challenging yet rewarding introduction to investment banking. From developing a full deal proposal to analysing a transaction’s strategic positioning and financials, the experience offered valuable hands-on exposure.

Beyond the technical learning, the direct feedback from the Jefferies team and the connections built with the BRIKS team and other ambitious peers made the experience even more meaningful.
