Na een gezellige avond op café rijden twee broers opgetogen naar huis. Ze plagen elkaar en praten over koetjes en kalfjes. Er is geen wolkje aan de lucht. Maar een pintje te veel, een diep tragisch ongeluk en een beschermende leugen weven een noodlottig web waarin één van hen onomkeerbaar verstrikt geraakt.
