Sadly i'll only be day trading, as the economy in Europe will fall into recession. I know it's a bold statement, but at this point it is inevitable. There is a small chance that US can turn the tide, so worth keeping an eye out for. IF you still have money left in stocks I suggest you turn over to gold or other safe assets while you can. We can already see big pain for big corporations as energy prices are sky rocketting, forcing plants to close. It is serious, but it's not being talked about. Prepare for a hard winter, because it is coming whether you want it or not. Stay safe.

Odd day and barely got away with profit so I can't really complain. made some bad trades but managed to reduce risk to a minimum.

Weekly gain looking pretty good. Tommorow looking for some new trades after big earnings of Apple, Amazon and Intel.

I will also be testing out Micro e-mini futures soon, as the risk-reward seems better + commission wise it's also a lot more interesting than day trading 10-20 contracts at a time.

Started day trading, taking it slow. Today was a perfect day to get back into day trading. Finished the day positive with a net profit of + $ 180. The market gave plenty of entries and I got to practice my technical analysis again. My highest exposure was 300 $ with a stop loss attached of 30$. I will be trading with a very strict stop loss, to try and maximize my potential. Daily goals have been set, and I actually exceeded it the first day so I called it after the first two trades.

The big picture doesn't look good, market is still bearish. I'm looking for more bearish price action as the fed will release their decision on rate hikes. Also a big week for earnings, so plenty to look out for !

It's not for nothing analysts are spouting " recession ". All eyes are now focused on bringing inflation down, which the fed has not succeeded in as of late. We can expect more rate hikes, which also means loans getting more expensive. Speculation this should lead to cheaper housing but I think as long as the consumer has savings, housing prices will continue to inflate beyond proportion.I was planning to buy something my own next year, but right now that seems like the worst decision ever. Belgian rates are 3% as of now. In America this number is already exceeding 5%. The thing is, market will keep declining as long as inflation is rising and this is a vicious circle of trying to get it under control. I'm sceptical the Fed will get this under control in 2022. The last years so many cash flow has gone into saving the Economy which also resulted in this catastrophy. There is a reason I pulled my money out at the end of 2021. It has been the longest bull run in history, but now is the time to go beyond a correction. I do not expect a safe landing and neither should you. Keep your cash close, don't be a fool to invest in a failing market this moment. I'd also suggest you don't buy a house at these rates AND high prices. You will have a very heavy payment plan and I'm sure this will cause problems in some countries where they allow looses terms and acceptations. I do not believe in a new housing bubble, but rather a slowdown in buying as rates go higher, which will result in deflation of housing prices. This proces could take a few years IF inflation does not get under control. We could see as high as 5 - 8 % rates if this tempo goes on.

Sold 2/4 AMD position for 2k € realized profit. Decided to let the other 2 contracts run a little longer. See what I can squeeze out of AMD. Raised stop losses just in case.

A small update. I haven't died, just not a lot of time to trade a lot. Sold corsair this morning after a ridiculous pop thanks to the popular reddit forum " Wallstreetbets ". I already knew I had to sell quick when I saw this stock going + 30 % in pre market trading. I have no regrets selling this position as Implied Volatility is now through the roof for this stock. I'm mostly cash and index-funds now, looking for new investment opportunities.

Monthly update

Amd has been performing extremely well, sooner than expected. I don't know If I should have averaged down more on Visa, but the realised profit from it has been good so far. The indexes are still going higher, to new record highs . Stimulus is helping too. More vaccine news will propel everything higher. My only concern is the infection rate and deaths/cases per day. This could very well be a negative catalyst for stocks. We'll have to see that on monday. In a broader spectrum, I think stocks are performing exceptionally well. It is known that the end of year is exciting for stocks. I have a feeling January might be rough. Although + 60 % ROI will seem a lot, I think we can push more but I don't think that is the wise choice here. I'll look how december goes, and probaly close most of my positions before January. I will not be going short or speculate on another correction, but it might as well be possible.

over 5k $ in profits today because of the biden/vaccine euphoria. And this on the first day.. The future sure seems bright. Raised stop losses for guaranteed profits in case market decides to tank. But for now im holding on to maximize the profits.

Bought some leaps on AMD, good faith in the future of this stock, plenty of room to grow. Will also be looking for the renewable energy sector, as Biden endorses this. Companies that produce electric cars, make solar panels etc will be worth checking out.. I was quite sceptical buying AMD at this price, but with the recent acquisition of Xilinx, they have proven they have big plans for growth. Maybe even take out Intel ? That would be nice. AMD is gaining market share FAST, mainly because the new Playstation 5 console is running smoothly at amazing graphics. The kind of revenue that AMD will gain from playstation will be huge, so I expect next Quarter to be very profitable.

As for the global market the future remains unclear. WIll corona cause another wipe? I'm doubtful. As seen before, investors are pouring a lot of money in the market, which means there is enough equity to sustain a bull market. If given the chance, the fed will also stimulate the market with buybacks. Will we see a pullback? Most likely. Will it be as extreme as march? I think not.

Hmmm, a 60 % gain on the index since the last low set in march. Elections coming soon, should be interesting to watch price action. I'm sitting on the side lines for now and will be looking for an entry when i'm comfortable with it. The kind of buying I witnessed since the last low in march is incredible, investors seem to have a lot of confidence in the economy. Buy the dip is still very much alive. I do not have regrets sitting this one out.
