✨ Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 entitled "𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆", organised by the National University of Political Studios and Public Administration (SNSPA), Faculty of Public Administration, Smart Edu Hub.
💫 In the Panel entitled “𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚”, which focused on the intersection of , and , especially in the context of , I had the honor of highlighting, together with special guests from Japan, Austria and Romania, the significant technological advances that have transformed various fields and how these advances have reshaped industries and created new opportunities, while posing unique challenges.
💡 I emphasized the importance of in the face of , noting how smart city technologies can increase resilience through data-driven decision-making, predictive analytics, smart infrastructure, access to affordable technology, digital literacy programs, and equitable resource allocation to ensure that vulnerable populations benefit from technological advances.
⚖️ Personally, I advocate for a balance between human-centered design and technology-based solutions and also for the community feedback and engagement in shaping urban environments, promoting well-being and quality of life, local culture, and trust through transparency.
