Premier Bank PLC has announced the appointment of Md. Abdul Bari Chowdhury as Vice President (VP) of the Credit Administration Division (CAD).
Abdul Bari brings extensive banking experience in operations, credit administration, loan documentation, disbursement, regulatory compliance, and credit risk management. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated strong expertise in ensuring effective credit governance, operational efficiency, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Prior to assuming his current role, he served in key positions within the banking industry, where he successfully managed critical aspects of credit administration, including facility documentation, security perfection, disbursement control, limit maintenance, covenant monitoring, and post-disbursement compliance. His experience spans a broad range of retail, SME, and corporate credit administration functions.
He holds a BSS (Honours) and MSS in Economics from the University of Rajshahi. He has also participated in various professional training programs covering credit administration, banking operations, compliance, and risk management.
