SABINCO Approves Tk. 150 Million Dividend at 42nd Annual General Meeting.

Saudi-Bangladesh Industrial and Agricultural Investment Company Limited (SABINCO) held its 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 20, 2026, at its Head Office in Nikunja, Dhaka. Reflecting a year of strong financial performance, the company approved a total cash dividend of Tk. 150 million for 2025, backed by a robust net profit of Tk. 552.88 million.

The AGM, presided over by SABINCO Chairman Mr. Sultan Abdulrauf, provided a comprehensive review of the company’s operational milestones, financial accounts, and expanding investment portfolio.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Md. Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Deputy Chairman & Secretary, Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Bangladesh and Mr. Mohammed M. Almalki, Director, while Director Mr. Majid Alghamdi joined the proceedings virtually.
High-level ministerial and diplomatic representatives from both sponsoring governments were also in attendance. Mr. Md. Azimuddin Biswas, NDC, Additional Secretary, Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance represented the Government of Bangladesh, while Mr. Fahad M. Alhusaini from the Saudi Ministry of Finance virtually represented the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

SABINCO Managing Director, Mr. Md. Maroof ur Rahman Mazumder, alongside senior executive management, presented the company's strategic roadmap, emphasizing future growth in industrial and agricultural investments.

As part of our commitment to supporting Bangladesh Bank Guidelines and promoting financial inclusion, a Financial Literacy Training Program was successfully conducted on 29 June 2026 at Bhaluka, Mymensingh for marginalized people.

The program focused on raising awareness about savings, responsible borrowing, digital financial services, fraud prevention, and sound financial management, helping participants make informed financial decisions and improve their financial well-being.

Mr. Md. Maroof ur Rahman Mazumder, Managing Director of SABINCO, participated as one of the distinguished discussants at the seminar titled “Application of AI and AGI in the Management of Foreign Assistance for Public Projects in Bangladesh,” organized by the Economic Relations Division (ERD), Ministry of Finance. The Honourable Finance Minister attended the seminar as the Chief Guest, while the Honourable Adviser to the Hon’ble Prime Minister on ICT joined as the Special Guest. The meeting was presided over by the Secretary of the Economic Relations Division.
