In 2014, IRB started developing Noriba website as a way to accumulate fund, collect Zakat and donation for the poor and disadvantaged rural vulnerable families with a view to to increasing their income to develop their livelihoods and bring about positive changes in their lives. IRB operates Noriba website where profiles and information of poor beneficiaries are uploaded with their appeal to get financial support. Welcome To Noriba

Noriba is an online lending platform on Islamic microfinance for capital accumulation and lending among poor borrowers. This online is a peer-to peer lending platform where loans are made directly between persons (lender) and individuals. Lenders support micro-entrepreneurs living in challenging conditions that lack access to capital to launch or expand business activities. Interested persons can choose to lend to poor micro-entrepreneurs for supporting them to invest in productive purpose, getting more income and better livelihoods. This lending mechanism is totally interest free lending to poor entrepreneurs.
Riba is an Aribic word-, means an “increment’ or addition”. In Islamic Fiqh the term riba has a special meaning- Riba is an unjustified increment in borrowing or lending money, paid in kind or in money above the amount of loan, as a condition imposed by the lender.
Noriba is opposite to riba, means no interest for making loans.
