Concord Pragatee Consortium Ltd (CPC) was formed in 1982 with the vision of making a platform to fill up, as far as possible, the vacuums in the field of sophisticated engineering constructions and to assist the country to move forward with ambitious gigantic development programs. With an excellent track record spanning from 30 (Thirty) years above, CPC achieved several accolades for successfully

completing a wide range of multi million dollar projects in the Construction Industry, in particular those related to Highways, Bridges, Buildings and Power Generation. CPC has strongly positioned itself in the construction industry of Bangladesh with enviable reputation due to honest, sincere, reliability, and customer centricity. CPC is successful in executing all projects with high quality, reduced timeline and minimum cost and these strengths are the source of power that enable CPC to excel and win goodwill of clients. CPC at present associated with reputed international contractors like Oriental Structural Engineers (OSE) -India, HCM Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) & Road Builders Pvt Ltd-Singapore. Most of the Projects done by CPC are funded by World Bank, ADB & JICA and supervised by International Consultants. Few landmark achievements of CPC are, construction & maintenance of Dhaka-Chittagong Highway, Dhaka-Sylhet Highway, Highways of Dinajpur, Rangpur, Rajshahi & Khulna, 300ft wide Purbachal Link Road (ongoing), so on & so forth. CPC has diversified it’s business from infrastructure to Power Generation from 2007 and pursued several Power Projects. The major credits in the Power Generation are stated below:

Sponsor of 55MW Rental Power Plant at Ashugang under BPDB - Gas Fired - Commercial Operation Started on March, 2010. Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) of 50MW Dual Fuel Power Plant at Kodda, Gazipur under RPCL-HFO Fired – Completed on April, 2012. EPC of 25MW Dual Fuel Power Plant at Raozan, Chittagong under RPCL-HFO Fired-Contract in Progress since Feb-2011 and target to complete within September, 2012. The Annual Turnover of CPC for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010 are BDT 1,059, BDT 2,124, BDT 1,627, BDT 2,755 & BDT 2,954 million equivalents to US$ 14.72, US$ 29.92, US$ 22.91, US$ 39.35 & US$ 42.20 million respectively. It’s worth to mention here that one of the founder Director of the Company is a Sponsor Director of a leading bank of the country- “The National Bank Ltd.” This Company has also participated in sponsoring an Insurance Company and three of it’s Directors are on the Board of Directors of the “Pragati Insurance Company Ltd”. In the journey of business expansion, CPC has recently taken few other bold & timely needed projects and among them Prudent Super Mall (Brand name: Banglabazaar) for wholesale & retail business and Engreen Ltd. for renewable energy including solar power generation & supplies are noteworthy to mention.
