Job Purpose: The Coordinator – UCEP Welfare Trust is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the overall welfare-related initiatives, financial operations, and administrative activities of the UCEP Welfare Trust. The role ensures proper governance, transparent fund management, member support services and the effective implementation of welfare policies, in alignment with UCEP Welfare Trust’s values, policies and donor/regulatory requirements.
Essential Requirements:

Education: Minimum Master’s degree in any discipline (Preferably in Business Administration/Law/Finance/Accounting).

Experience:

Minimum 08 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in Welfare Trusts / Trust Funds will be given preference.

Other Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong communication skills in both Bangla and English.
Excellent writing skills, particularly in drafting meeting minutes, reports and proposals.
Good understanding of compliance, governance and statutory requirements.
Proficient in MS Office applications and digital documentation systems.
Strong organizational, analytical and multitasking abilities.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed, with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to travel as required.

Job Responsibilities:

Welfare Trust Fund Management;

Oversee the collection, allocation, and disbursement of welfare funds in accordance with approved policies.
Maintain accurate and transparent financial records of contributions, loans, grants, and benefits.
Prepare periodic financial reports and submit them to relevant authorities/committees.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the Welfare Trust’s fund mobilization.

Policy Implementation, Governance, Compliance & Legal;

Ensure proper adherence to Welfare Trust rules, regulations, and statutory requirements.
Recommend updates to welfare policies and guidelines as required.
Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with audit recommendations.
Communicate with lawyers, Land Office, Registry Office, DC Office, and other relevant government offices, including secretariat, as and when required.

Member & Beneficiary Services;
Maintain a database of Trust members, beneficiaries, and welfare activities.
Identify and engage with potential donors, partners and philanthropists.

Reporting & Communication;

Provide regular reports to senior management, committee members, and auditors.
Ensure effective communication regarding trust programs and updates.
Prepare presentations, reports, and summaries as required.

Planning, Development, Administrative and Operational Supports;

Identify new welfare initiatives to enhance member support and organizational well-being.
Conduct research and benchmarking to improve welfare trust fund.
Prepare annual activity plans and budgets for the Welfare Trust.

Organize Trustee Board meetings, preparation, relevant documentation and logistics.
Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and documentation for the Welfare Trust Committee.
Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth welfare operations.
Maintain an organized and secure repository of all Trust-related records, decisions and documents.
Ensure confidentiality, timely reporting and effective documentation practices.
Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks of the Welfare Trust.

Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management or Trustee Board as and where needed.

About the role
The primary purpose of the Young Professional (YP) position is to support innovative design development, capacity building and youth engagement tasks, including documentation, facilitating inter-departmental coordination, and contributing to ongoing and future project activities through technical efforts. The position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of technical activities while supporting organisational goals. S/he is expected to carry out activities with high degree of consistency, collaboration and critical thinking to contribute to WaterAid’s mission of transforming lives by making safe water, sanitation, and hygiene accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Young Professional (YP) is a programme through which WaterAid provides adequate support and opportunity to the Bangladeshi young and talented aspirants having good academic background. Therefore, YPs can groom themselves up in the organisational environment, obtain relevant experience, and prepare themselves to contribute professionally to any organisational set-up.

In this role, you will:

Develop designs incorporating green technologies for ensuring environmental safety and sustainability of WASH infrastructures.
Design and estimate climate resilient and universally accessible technologies to support programme implementation.
Conduct field visit to provide technical assistance to different projects/programmes as and when needed.
Organise trainings/ workshops and other capacity building activities.
Support in promoting WASH through innovative technologies/ approaches.
Assist in the development of training module and communication materials for different capacity building initiatives.
Assist in development/ revision of organisational guideline and policies.
Development of knowledge pieces and its publications at appropriate media.
Documentation, reporting, and presentation as and when required.

These responsibilities will be reviewed with the line manager from time to time.
Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

Education: Fresh graduates with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), preferably in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Urban Planning, from any recognized and reputed university in Bangladesh or abroad.

Desired attributes:

Strong understanding of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) issues in both national and global contexts
Standard written and verbal communication skills in both Bangla and English
Admirable leadership, interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills
Excellent computer proficiency with hands-on experience in software such as AutoCAD, GIS, SketchUp, etc.
High level of proactiveness, creativity, and a positive attitude
Strong ability to plan and prioritize tasks, uphold integrity, and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
Willingness to travel extensively to different parts of the country.

Job Summary

PROTTYASHI, A social development organization has been responding the Rohingya Crisis in Cox`s Bazar since the crisis started and currently is going to implement UK Resilience and Adaptation Fund (RAF) in the Rohingya and host community of Cox’s Bazar with the technical support of Handicap International. ROTTYASHI invites applications for the vacant position titled- Livelihood Officer for the RAF Project to start from 1st October, 2025.

Reporting

Livelihood Officer will report to Project Manager. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization’s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in identifying and selecting persons with disabilities in refugee and host communities following the beneficiary selection criteria.
Conduct baseline survey in the targeted Rohingya and host communities to identify beneficiaries as per the project objectives and outcomes.
Create profile of the beneficiaries including their present situation and expected situation.
Create batches of the persons with disabilities for the arrangement of the non-formal skill training in the targeted camps and host community unions.
Mobilize the project beneficiaries to engage with skill development and cash for work interventions through active participation.
Organize selected Rohingya and host community beneficiaries for timely participation in the vocational skill training sessions.
Support distribution of the input supports to the graduated beneficiaries on self-employment generation.
Support the beneficiaries to develop self-employment initiative with the input supports provided and manufacturing of the products at the host and camp level.
Supervise business initiatives of the project beneficiaries through regular visits to the beneficiaries’ households and providing necessary guidance.
Facilitate market linkage for the livelihood activities of the persons with disabilities.

Currently, we have a vacancy for the position of "Customer Service Officer" for the deserving candidate who is interested to be a part of the vibrant team.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Provide prompt support for customer inquiries via phone and email communication.
Resolve customer concerns effectively and efficiently.
Proactively make outbound calls and follow-up as and when required.
Conduct proper customer verification processes as guided.
Identify trends of modern call center/customer service and follow them.

Job Specification:

Master's degree in any discipline from reputed university.
2-3 years' experience in customer service/call center is required.

Other Requirements:

Strong communication skills in Bangla and English, both written and verbal are required.
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate call center software and systems.
Clear articulation, positive phrasing, and active listening in customer conversation are required.
A positive attitude, patient, and empathetic towards customer queries.
Geographic knowledge of different locations of the country.

Job Location: RDL Corporate Headquarters.
