বেসিক ব্যাংকে অফিসার (ক্যাশ) পদে নতুন ১৬ কর্মকর্তার যোগদান

শতভাগ রাষ্ট্র মালিকানাধীন বেসিক ব্যাংক পিএলসি.-তে অফিসার (ক্যাশ) পদে নতুন ১৬ জন কর্মকর্তা যোগদান করেছেন। বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের তত্ত্বাবধানে ব্যাংকার্স সিলেকশন কমিটির গৃহীত নিয়োগ পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ হয়ে তারা সম্প্রতি বেসিক ব্যাংক যোগ দেন।

নতুন কর্মকর্তাদের যোগদান উপলক্ষে বৃহস্পতিবার (৬ আগস্ট ২০২৬) ব্যাংকের প্রধান কার্যালয়ে এক অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়। এতে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে বেসিক ব্যাংক পিএলসি.-এর ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ও সিইও মোঃ কামরুজ্জামান খান নতুন কর্মকর্তাদের স্বাগত জানান।

অনুষ্ঠানে অন্যান্যের মধ্যে উপব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালকদ্বয় আবু মোঃ মোফাজ্জেল ও সুভাষ চন্দ্র দাস, এফসিএ, এফসিএমএ, মহাব্যবস্থাপক মোঃ ইসমাইল, মোঃ মমিনুল হক, মোঃ নাসির উদ্দীন, মোঃ হাসান ইমাম, মোঃ গোলাম সাঈদ খান, সাইদুর রহমান সোহেল, মানব সম্পদ বিভাগের প্রধান মোঃ মামুনুর রহমানসহ প্রধান কার্যালয়ের উর্ধ্বতন নির্বাহী ও কর্মকর্তাগণ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

নতুন যোগদানকারী অফিসারদেরকে ব্যাংকের সংস্কৃতি, পরিচালন কাঠামো, কমপ্লায়েন্স ব্যবস্থা, গ্রাহক সেবা এবং সমসাময়িক ব্যাংকিং কার্যক্রম নিয়ে সংক্ষিপ্ত ধারণা প্রদান করা হয়। এছাড়া সফল ব্যাংকিং ক্যারিয়ার গড়ার জন্য সততা, পেশাদারিত্ব, দায়িত্বশীলতা এবং নৈতিক চর্চার উপর গুরুত্বারোপ করা হয়।

নতুন কর্মকর্তারা ব্যাংকের বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রমে যুক্ত হওয়ার মাধ্যমে বেসিক ব্যাংকের সেবা কার্যক্রম আরও গতিশীল ও দক্ষ করে তুলতে ভূমিকা রাখবেন বলে উর্ধ্বতন কর্মকর্তারা আশা প্রকাশ করেন

16 New Officers (Cash) Join BASIC Bank

Sixteen newly recruited officers have joined BASIC Bank PLC., 100% State-owned Commercial Bank, as Officer (Cash), following their successful completion of the recruitment examination conducted by the Bankers’ Selection Committee under the supervision of Bangladesh Bank.

A joining ceremony was held at the bank’s head office on Thursday (06 August 2026) to welcome the newly appointed officers. Md. Quamruzzaman Khan, Managing Director & CEO of BASIC Bank, attended the event as the chief guest and welcomed the new officers.

Among others, Abu Md. Mofazzal and Subhash Chandra Das, FCA, FCMA, Deputy Managing Directors, along with Md. Ismail, Md. Momenul Hoque, Md. Nashir Uddin, Md. Hasan Imam, Md. Ghulam Sayeed Khan, and Saidur Rahman Sohel, General Managers, and Md. Mamunur Rahman, Head of Human Resources Division were present at the program, alongside senior executives and officials of head office.

The program provided the newly joined Officers with an overview of the bank’s culture, organizational structure, compliance framework, customer service standards and contemporary banking practices. The program also emphasized the importance of integrity, professionalism and continuous learning in building a successful career in the banking sector.

The senior officials expressed the hope that the newly recruited officers (Cash) would uphold the bank’s values and professional standards while contributing to more efficient and customer-focused banking services through their involvement in various operations of BASIC Bank.

ম্যাগপাই (Magpie) অ্যাপে ক্রেডিট কার্ডের পাশাপাশি এখন সরাসরি ব্যাংক একাউন্টের (Account) মাধ্যমে Bangla QR সেবা লাইভ করা হয়েছে। এর ফলে বেসিক ব্যাংকের একাউন্টধারী গ্রাহকগণ আরও সহজে, নিরাপদে ও দ্রুত Bangla QR লেনদেন সম্পন্ন করতে পারবেন। ইতোমধ্যে গ্রাহক পর্যায়ে এই ফিচারের মাধ্যমে সফলভাবে লেনদেন শুরু হয়েছে, যা আমাদের ক্যাশলেস ব্যাংকিং যাত্রায় একটি বড় মাইলফলক।

গ্রাহকদের জন্য ব্যাংকিং সেবাকে আরও সহজ, দ্রুত ও নিরাপদ করার লক্ষ্যে শতভাগ রাষ্ট্র মালিকানাধীন বেসিক ব্যাংক লিমিটেডের উদ্যোগে ‘ব্যাংকিং সেবায় উদ্ভাবন’ শীর্ষক এক কর্মশালা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। বুধবার, ২৪ জুন ২০২৬, বেসিক ব্যাংকের প্রধান কার্যালয়ের সম্মেলন কক্ষে আয়োজিত এ কর্মশালার শুভ উদ্বোধন করেন ব্যাংকের ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ও সিইও মোঃ কামরুজ্জামান খান। কর্মশালায় প্রশিক্ষক হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন অর্থ মন্ত্রণালয়ের আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠান বিভাগের যুগ্ম সচিব ও চীফ ইনোভেশন অফিসার ফরিদা ইয়াসমিন।

অনুষ্ঠানে বেসিক ব্যাংকের উপব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক আবু মোঃ মোফাজ্জেল ও উপব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ও ইনোভেশন অফিসার সুভাষ চন্দ্র দাস, এফসিএ, এফসিএমএ, মহাব্যবস্থাপক মোঃ ইসমাইল, মোঃ মমিনুল হক, মোঃ নাসির উদ্দীন, সুমিত রঞ্জন নাথ, মোঃ হাসান ইমাম, মোঃ গোলাম সাঈদ খান, সাইদুর রহমান সোহেলসহ বিভাগীয় প্রধান, প্রধান কার্যালয়ের ঊর্ধ্বতন নির্বাহী ও সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্মকর্তারা উপস্থিত ছিলেন। সারাদেশে অবস্থিত ব্যাংকের বিভিন্ন শাখা ও উপশাখার প্রধানগণ ভার্চুয়াল মাধ্যমে কর্মশালায় যুক্ত হন।

কর্মশালায় বক্তারা বলেন, আধুনিক ব্যাংকিং ব্যবস্থায় প্রযুক্তির সর্বোচ্চ ব্যবহার নিশ্চিত করে গ্রাহকসেবা আরও কার্যকর করার জন্য উদ্ভাবনী উদ্যোগ গ্রহণের বিকল্প নেই। ডিজিটাল প্রক্রিয়ার মাধ্যমে কীভাবে ব্যাংকিং কার্যক্রমকে আরও সহজ, নিরাপদ ও সময়সাশ্রয়ী করা যায়, এই কর্মশালায় সে বিষয়ে গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয়।

বক্তারা আরও বলেন, উন্নত গ্রাহকসেবা নিশ্চিত করার মাধ্যমে বেসিক ব্যাংকের ব্যবসায়িক অগ্রগতি আরও গতিশীল করতে হবে। এজন্য ব্যাংকের সব পর্যায়ের কর্মকর্তা-কর্মচারীদের নতুন প্রযুক্তি ও উদ্ভাবনী চিন্তাধারার সঙ্গে সম্পৃক্ত হওয়ার আহ্বান জানানো হয়। কর্মশালাটি আগামী দিনে ব্যাংকের সেবার মান উন্নয়ন এবং গ্রাহকদের জন্য আধুনিক, নির্ভরযোগ্য ও প্রযুক্তিনির্ভর ব্যাংকিং ব্যবস্থা গড়ে তোলার ক্ষেত্রে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে বলে বক্তারা উল্লেখ করেন।

BASIC Bank Organized Workshop on Innovation in Banking Services

BASIC Bank PLC., 100% State-owned commercial bank, organized a workshop on “Innovation in Banking Services” with the aim of improving customer experience by making banking services easier, faster and more secure through digital transformation. Md. Quamruzzaman Khan, Managaing Director & CEO of BASIC Bank, inaugurated the workshop on June 16, 2026 at the Conference Hall of the Bank’s Head Office. Farida Yasmin, Joint Secretary and Chief Innovation Officer of the Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance, attended the workshop as the resource person.

Among others, Abu Md. Mofazzal, Deputy Managing Director and Subhash Chandra Das, FCA, FCMA, Deputy Managing Director and Innovation Officer of BASIC Bank, along with Md. Ismail, Md. Momenul Hoque, Md. Nashir Uddin, Sumit Ranjan Nath, Md. Hasan Imam, Md. Ghulam Sayeed Khan, and Saidur Rahman Sohel, General Managers, along with heads of different departments and other senior executives, were present at the event. Heads of branches and sub-branches from across the country joined the workshop virtually.

Speakers highlighted the importance of innovation and technology in transforming traditional banking services. They emphasized that digital initiatives can help provide customers with more convenient, secure and efficient banking solutions within a shorter time.

The speakers also called upon all officials to work together towards ensuring the highest level of customer service and supporting the continued growth and development of BASIC Bank.

The workshop is expected to play an important role in strengthening the Bank’s digital banking initiatives and creating a more customer-focused banking atmosphere.

সোনালী ব্যাংকের সঙ্গে বেসিক ব্যাংকের চুক্তি স্বাক্ষর

রাষ্ট্রায়ত্ত সোনালী ব্যাংক পিএলসি. এবং বেসিক ব্যাংক পিএলসি. এর মধ্যে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সেবা চুক্তি স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে। এই চুক্তির মাধ্যমে বেসিক ব্যাংক পিএলসি. সোনালী ব্যাংক পিএলসি’র নিজস্ব সফটওয়্যার ‘সোনালী পেমেন্ট গেটওয়ে’তে যুক্ত হয়েছে। এর ফলে বেসিক ব্যাংকের মাধ্যমে ‘সোনালী পেমেন্ট গেটওয়ে’ ব্যবহার করে যেকোনো ব্যক্তি সহজেই বিভিন্ন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান ও অন্যান্য সরকারি-বেসরকারি প্রতিষ্ঠানের ফি/চার্জ, ইউটিলিটি বিল, সর্বজনীন পেনশনের কিস্তি, চালান ফি ইত্যাদি পরিশোধ করতে পারবেন।

২৩ জুন ২০২৬, মঙ্গলবার, সোনালী ব্যাংকের প্রধান কার্যালয়ের কনফারেন্স রুমে আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানে বেসিক ব্যাংকের ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ও সিইও মোঃ কামরুজ্জামান খান এবং সোনালী ব্যাংকের এমডি অ্যান্ড সিইও মোঃ শওকত আলী খান নিজ নিজ প্রতিষ্ঠানের পক্ষে চুক্তিতে স্বাক্ষর করেন।

BASIC Bank signed an agreement with Sonali Bank

BASIC Bank PLC., 100% State-owned commercial bank, signed an important service agreement with state-owned Sonali Bank PLC. Under this agreement, BASIC Bank PLC. has been connected to Sonali Bank PLC's own software 'Sonali Payment Gateway'. As a result of this agreement,, any person will be able to pay fees/charges, utility bills, universal pension installments, challan fees, etc. of various educational institutions and other government and private organizations using the 'Sonali Payment Gateway' through BASIC Bank more easily and securely.

A total of 17 officers recently joined BASIC Bank PLC. as Senior Officers after qualifying in the competitive examination conducted by the Bankers’ Selection Committee under the supervision of Bangladesh Bank.
