We are deeply proud to announce that SahajMobile BD Limited has received a No Objection Certificate from Bangladesh Bank, the central bank of Bangladesh, to pilot inclusive smartphone financing.
This is perhaps the most important milestone in our journey so far, not simply because of what it means for our growth, but because it brings our work into a formal regulatory framework and reflects the trust placed in our mission.
South Asia faces an enormous need for responsible capital. Millions of hardworking people have the income and ambition to move forward, yet remain outside the formal credit system.
