Dhaka Bank PLC. Inaugurated Banking Booth on Shahjahanpur Cattle Market
As part of the “Transaction Digitization of Cattle Markets Project 2026” initiated by the “Bangla QR Implementation Unit” of Bangladesh Bank, the Digital Transaction Booth established by Dhaka Bank PLC at the Uttar Shahjahanpur Cattle Market officially commenced operations on 23 May 2026.
The booth was formally inaugurated by Mr. A K M Shahnawaj, Acting Managing Director of Dhaka Bank PLC, in the presence of Mr. Md Mostaque Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director & CEMO; H M Mostafizur Rahman, SEVP & Head of Retail Banking Division; Mr. Mosleh Saad Mahmud, Focal Point & Head of Bangla QR Implementation Unit; Syed Ghulam Dastagir, SVP & Head of Communications & Branding Division; Md. Reaz Uddin, Branch Manager of Shahjahanpur Branch; along with other senior officials of the Bank and renowned personalities from the local community.
Through this booth, customers and cattle traders can conveniently pay Hasil using QR Code facilities and deposit cash through the CRM machine on a 24/7 basis until Eid-ul-Adha.
Under the slogan of “Making Bangladesh Cashless,” Dhaka Bank has also arranged fund transfer, EFTN, and RTGS facilities for both buyers and sellers from the booth during banking hours, ensuring a seamless and secure digital transaction experience at the cattle market.
