বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের শরিয়া অ্যাডভাইজরি বোর্ডের নতুন সদস্য হিসেবে বিশিষ্ট আলেম ও ইসলামিক অর্থনীতি বিশেষজ্ঞ ড. মুফতি ইউসুফ সুলতানকে মনোনীত করা হয়েছে। তাঁর এই মনোনয়ন দেশের ইসলামী ব্যাংকিং ও আর্থিক খাতের শরিয়া ভিত্তিক সুশাসন ও নীতিমালা প্রণয়নে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে বলে আশা করা হচ্ছে।

ড. মুফতি ইউসুফ সুলতান আইএফএ কনসালটেন্সির সহ-প্রতিষ্ঠাতা এবং আদল এডভাইজরি মালয়েশিয়ার প্রতিষ্ঠাতা পরিচালক। বাংলাদেশ এ্যাওফি ফেলোস ফোরাম কর্তৃক বাফ এওয়ার্ড ২০২৩ এ ভুষিত। পাশাপাশি এ্যাওফির ওয়ার্কিং কমিটির সদস্য ও মাস্টার ট্রেইনার এবং দেশ-বিদেশের নানা প্রতিষ্ঠানের শারিয়াহ বোর্ডের সদস্য হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন। তিনি দীর্ঘদিন ধরে ইসলামী অর্থনীতি, ফিকহুল মুআমালাত ও শরিয়া নির্ভর ব্যাংকিং বিষয়ে গবেষণা ও প্রশিক্ষণ কার্যক্রমের সঙ্গে যুক্ত আছেন। সাউথ আফ্রিকা, সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাত, ইন্দোনেশিয়াসহ বেশ কিছু দেশে তিনি আমন্ত্রিত আলোচক হিসেবেও অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন। এছাড়া বাহরাইনে অনুষ্ঠিত এ্যাওফির বার্ষিক শারিয়াহ সভায় একটি সেশনের স্পিকারও ছিলেন।

বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের শরিয়া বোর্ড দেশের ইসলামী ব্যাংকিং ও আর্থিক প্রতিষ্ঠানের শরিয়া সম্মত কার্যক্রম তদারকি ও নীতিমালা প্রণয়নে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে। ড. মুফতি ইউসুফ সুলতানের অন্তর্ভুক্তি এই বোর্ডের কার্যক্রমকে আরও সমৃদ্ধ করবে বলে সংশ্লিষ্টরা আশা প্রকাশ করেছেন।

🚀 Who We Are:

biniyog.io is the first halal crowdfunding platform in Bangladesh which connects individual investors to profitable businesses. We launched in Sep '21 and have since helped businesses raise BDT 636 million+ in Shariah-based debt financing.

🚀 Job Responsibilities:

- Create visually engaging graphics for digital and print media, including social media posts, website assets, marketing materials, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to develop creative concepts and execute design projects from start to finish.
- Ensure brand consistency across all design outputs by adhering to established guidelines.
- Edit and retouch resources (images and videos) as needed for various campaigns.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
- Prepare and deliver final design files in appropriate formats for production or publication.

🚀 Working Modality:

- Working Hour : 20~25 Hours a week
- Working Mode : Mostly remote (occasionally may need to attend office physically one day/two days a week)
- Fast response time during office hours

🚀 Qualification:

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other relevant design software. Primary knowledge of video editing and Figma will be a plus.
- Proficiency in Image and visual resources generation with popular AI tools.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

A common problem among SMEs is lack of access to financing. However, from the SME owner's perspective, the problem actually covers several other sub points like:
1️⃣ Should investment be my first priority to grow the business?
2️⃣ ⁠How to I decide that my business needs financing?
3️⃣ ⁠Should I take debt financing or equity financing?
4️⃣ ⁠What are the sources of accessing financing and which one to pursue?
5️⃣ I have received funds, how do I make sure it is utilized properly?

And from a financier's perspective, there are some things to consider for SMEs like:
✅ The financial literacy of the owner / entrepreneur

৩ বছর পার করে ফেললাম ব্যবসা দাড়া করানোর পিছনে, আলহামদুলিল্লাহ্‌। তবে এটা যতটা না ব্যবসা, তার থেকে বেশি হচ্ছে অর্থ ব্যবস্থায় হালাল-হারামের পার্থক্য তৈরি করা এবং একটি ইসলামি অর্থনীতির দিকে এগিয়ে যাওয়া ইনশা-আল্লাহ।
