Eastern Bank PLC. (EBL) and Batik Air have recently signed a strategic agreement in Dhaka. Under this collaboration, Batik Air’s business class passengers and loyalty program members departing from Dhaka will be able to access the “EBL Skylounge” located at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA).

The agreement was signed on behalf of the respective organizations by M. Khorshed Anowar, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail & SME Banking of EBL, and Prodip Kumar Dey, Station Manager of Batik Air. Among others present at the signing ceremony were Ismail Hossain Tamal, Assistant Vice President & Senior Manager, Retail Alliance of EBL; Biplob Chakrabarty, Head of Commercial of Batik Air; and Md. Iqbal Hossen, Relationship Officer, Retail Alliance of EBL.

This partnership reflects EBL’s ongoing commitment to delivering greater lifestyle benefits through strategic collaborations with leading global brands.
