Renowned businessman, social worker & sponsor director of Standard Islami Bank PLC, Mr. Ferozur Rahman has been elected Chairman of the Bank. A distinguished social worker Mr. Rahman is a former District Governor of Lions Clubs International, District 315 B2, Bangladesh and a PMJF Lion. He is also the Founder Chairman of Ferozur Rahman Foundation. For 31 years popular political figure Mr. Rahman served as Chairman of Sultanpur Union Parishad (Five Terms) and Sadar Upazila Parishad in Brahmanbaria with great distinction & reputation. A dedicated patron of education Mr. Rahman served for 42 years in various important positions including Chairman of the Governing Body of New Model Bahumukhi High School in Sukrabad, Dhanmondi, Dhaka. Mr. Jabedul Alam has joined Standard Islami Bank PLC. as Deputy Managing Director & Chief Transformation Officer. Mr. Alam is a seasoned banker with more than 26 years of extensive experience in the banking sector. He began his banking career with HSBC Bank in 2000 and subsequently served in various important positions at BRAC Bank and Eastern Bank PLC (EBL). Throughout his career, Mr. Alam has held senior leadership positions and made significant contributions to business growth, corporate banking and transaction banking, with a strong focus on transformation and strategic business development.
