The Department of Banking and Insurance, University of Dhaka, in collaboration with the Bankers' Club of Bangladesh Limited, successfully held the Certificate Award Ceremony for the Master of Professional Banking (MPB) Program on 18 July 2026 at the Professor Dr. Abdullah Faruk Multipurpose Hall.

Assalamu Alaikum,
It is with great sadness that we share that a student of the Department of Banking and Insurance, University of Dhaka, has been diagnosed with Grade IV Varicocele.
After consulting four specialist doctors and undergoing multiple diagnostic tests, all medical opinions have confirmed the same recommendation: he must undergo urgent microsurgery within the next 10–15 days.
Consultant Surgeon:
Professor Jahangir Kabir (20–25 years of surgical experience)
💰 Estimated Medical Cost: BDT 230,000
(Including surgery, hospital charges, and related medical expenses)
Unfortunately, his family is going through severe financial hardship. His father is seriously ill, and as the eldest son, he carries significant responsibilities for his family. Arranging this amount within such a short time is beyond their capacity.
We sincerely appeal to our friends, alumni, teachers, well-wishers, and all kind-hearted people to extend a helping hand. No donation is too small—every contribution brings him one step closer to receiving the treatment he urgently needs.
