✨🎓 22nd ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION! 🎓✨

As part of the 22nd Anniversary of the Department of Banking and Insurance, the department organized a workshop on "Practical Income Tax and e-Return Filing", with its Certificate Awarding Ceremony held yesterday at the Professor Dr. Abdullah Farouk Multipurpose Hall.

The evening was graced by Heroic Freedom Fighter Md. Abdus Salam, Honorable Administrator, Dhaka South City Corporation, as Chief Guest; Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Daniel, Sponsor Director, Sonali Life Insurance PLC., and Rtn. Amal Halder, Deputy Managing Director, Virgo Group, as Special Guests — with the program chaired by Professor Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam Zahid, Chairman, Department of Banking and Insurance, University of Dhaka.

The Department of Banking & Insurance proudly celebrated its 22nd Founding Anniversary yesterday at the FBS premises with joy, pride, and togetherness. 🥳

The celebration was graced by the presence of our respected Chairman, Professor Dr. Shahidul Islam Zahid, esteemed faculty members, and enthusiastic students of the department. UCB Presents CredCrest Season 01 has officially concluded, with Team Underwriters emerging as champions. Team Too Sleepy to Work finished as the first runners-up, while Team 3 Musketeers secured the second runners-up position.

The teams pitched directly to Makshud Ahmed, Executive Vice President and Regional Head of Dhaka South Region, Ashfaq Ali Chowdhury, Senior Vice President and Head of Branch at Elephant Road Branch, and Md. Bakiul Karim Majumder, Vice President and Head of Branch at North Brook Hall Road Branch of UCB PLC. The session was chaired by Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam Zahid, with Dr. Hasina Sheykh and Dr. Abdullah Al Mahmud attending as special guests, while Dr. Md. Tanvir Hamim moderated the session.
