On 30 July 2026, WiserGates was invited by IMEC (Independent Management & Entrepreneurship Club) at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) to deliver a seminar on "The Golden Gates to FinTech: An Entrepreneur's Guide to Creating Wealth."

Our CEO Muhammad Refayet Chowdhury and COO Md Nazibur Rahman shared the stage to talk about fintech, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and what it truly takes to build wealth in today's world — built around one simple idea:

"Every taka presents two choices — an obligation or an opportunity."

What moved us most wasn't the session itself. It was what happened after. Students didn't leave. They gathered around, shared their startup ideas, asked about NANO, asked about DIFC — and couldn't believe a Bangladeshi-founded company is building from the financial hub of the Middle East. That reaction? Priceless. 🇧🇩

WiserSessions: Navigating the Blue Economy

The horizon of global commerce came into sharper focus for our community at our recent WiserSession, led by Mr. Tanjil Ahmed Ruhullah. In his engaging “Maritime Industry 101” masterclass, he unpacked the intricate mechanics of the maritime world with clarity and depth. Moving beyond a surface-level view of ships and trade routes, the session positioned the maritime industry as the true backbone of the global supply chain. Mr. Ruhullah guided participants through the lifecycle of cargo movement from port operations and terminal management to the regulatory frameworks that govern international shipping.

The discussion extended well beyond theory. Through real-world case studies, attendees explored how the industry responds to global disruptions and examined the evolving technological landscape that is reshaping maritime operations.
It was a powerful reminder that behind every product we use lies a vast and often invisible ecosystem of logistics, engineering, and international regulation.
