Our work focuses on harnessing the under-appreciated strengths of the poor, an approach inspired by Md. Alamin Bhuyan and his friends namely Amran Hossain (Rajon), Safayet Patwary, Sharif Gazi and Shipon Khan

. Alamin Bhuyan is a founding President and a current President emeritus of our board, Friends Welfare Foundation are independent organizations and have no financial or institutional links. Our collaborative approach to poverty alleviation recognizes the multidimensional and complex nature of global poverty. We are headquartered in Maishadi Chandpur with offices in the Dhaka.
