REDUCE THE COST OF ABSENTEEISM AND INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY IN THE WORKPLACE
PUBLIC & PRIVATE SECTORS
Following our recent election results, the people of Barbados have spoken to have a new reality in all aspects of life for our citizens. Our services levels have dropped in several areas, employees believe they have a right to 21 days annual sick leave because it is a clause in a union agreement, some employers believe it is right to hire as casual labour and encourage those persons to register as self employed persons. We believe that employers should not look as employee cost as an expense but rather as an investment in the lives of the people who they employ. As in the same way employers invest in employee training, we also believe that employers should invest in employees’ health. We encourage every employer to consider having a health assessment done for all employees starting with the employees with the most sick leave in the last fiscal year of the organization. We know that this will lead to greater productivity of the employees and increased profitability for the company. RMH FINANCIAL CONSULTANTS INC in association with THE WELLNESS CENTRE INC. can design a plan for your company through meeting with your HR team and working out the details. Annual assessments can also be arranged to take place on the anniversary date of each employee. We look forward to meeting with you to further discuss how we may be of service to your organization. We also invite you to attend our seminar in association with THE WELLNESS CENTRE INC with feature speaker Dr. David Homer on Saturday June 16, 2018 at the Island Inn Hotel, Aquatic Gap, St. Michael at 5:00pm.
