👋 Meet Michael | Commercial Finance Broker.

He grew up in Coolamon, regional NSW. Where he worked in his families transport and grain storage business. At 18 he moved straight to Melbourne, to chasing his dream to play AFL.

After 5 years in the VFL Michael was picked up in the pre season draft in 2019 for Carlton. He ended up playing 48 games for the Blues.

After being delisted in 2022 he and his wife moved to Yarrawonga to start BG Finance with his dad Brendan.

For the first 2 years, Michael worked in the back end of the business while studying. Processing deals, learning the ins and outs and has continued that growth to now gaining his own clients and continuing to assist with handling of all existing deals. Michael has completed a Cert IV in Banking and Finance as well as his Diploma in Finance. In April 2026 he became a fully qualified Commercial Finance Broker and member of CAFBA.

Outside of work Michael spends his time with his two daughters Lucia and Ada, and much to his wifes annoyance, the Golf course. He is still also very proudly apart of
