• Fencing removal

• General cleanup tasks
• Other miscellaneous tasks
Being organised by Philip Swincer and the Yankalilla Council committee who are coordinating the bushfire recovery

In the light of the difficult last couple of years, Parawa Ag Bureau is presenting a farm strategy workshop to help farmers with forward planning for their farm businesses. The aim is to help farmers plan their farm enterprises to be best prepared for coming seasons. The event is supported by Landscapes Hills and Fleurieu.

The workshop will cover:
• Stocking rates for beef & sheep
• Strategies for success with beef & sheep
• Grazing and feed management
• Decision making / planning
• Stock sale strategies
• Farm profitability assessment
• Alternative farming options
• Enterprise selection & stacking
• Goals and vision
• Q&A

Our presenter is Nic Kentish who farmed in the SE of SA for 20 years. He has taught and coached farmers and graziers for the past 15 years.
