FOUR YEARS OF SONIE 💛 Sonie Dawson

Today marks 4 years since Sonie joined Coastal Finance and when I think about everything that has happened in those four years, it’s pretty bloody special.

Sonie has become an absolute backbone of our business.

She is consistent. Reliable. Loyal. Calm when things get crazy and someone I know I can count on, day in and day out.

But what I’m probably most proud of is watching her grow into the broker she is today.

Sonie has found her space in this industry and absolutely owns it. First Home Buyers are her thing. She has this beautiful ability to take something that can feel completely overwhelming and make it simple, comfortable and exciting for her clients.

She genuinely cares about the people sitting across from her. She celebrates their wins with them and she works bloody hard behind the scenes to get them there.

And while I might be slightly biased… I reckon she’s become one of the best First Home Buyer Mortgage Brokers going around. ❤️

Four years ago Sonie joined Coastal Finance.

Today she is a Senior Mortgage Broker, a huge part of our team, someone our clients trust and someone I personally value more than she probably realises.

We have worked together, grown together, laughed A LOT, probably driven each other mad occasionally 😂 and built a friendship along the way that means just as much to me as everything we have achieved professionally.

💙 Proud Parents & Leader Moment 💙

Today is one of those days that fills your heart with so much pride.

Our Amelia (Millie) has officially received the results for her Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management… and she passed! 🎉

At just 17 years old, Millie has spent the last 18 months working full time at Coastal Finance while studying after hours to first complete her Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, and now her Diploma, 💪all before celebrating her 18th birthday.

This achievement isn’t just about qualifications. It’s about commitment, resilience and showing up every single day with the determination to build a career she can be proud of.

Watching her grow in confidence, learn the industry, support our clients with genuine care, and continue to challenge herself has been incredibly rewarding. As both her mum and her team mate along side some pretty amazing mentors with Cat, Sonie and Tia, we couldn’t be prouder of the young woman she is becoming.
