Last Friday, we were proud to be naming rights sponsor of the 2021 SCA QLD Lannock Golf Day, enjoying a fun-filled day with over 200 strata industry reps. With our speed gun at the ready, we challenged everyone who played to give it everything they had off the tee, with 2 lucky winners taking home prizes for the fastest drive.

🚩 🚩 What an amazing afternoon! 🚩 🚩

Last Friday, we were part of something special when 600+ members of our strata community watched a live interview with Australian of the Year Adam Goodes as he shared his story about overcoming adversity and what he is doing to empower the next generation.

Alongside Adam, we were treated to a lesson on optimism from Dr. Tim Sharp, who reminded us how important the connections in our life are for our ongoing happiness.

On display during the event was the interview finesse of Chris Duggan and Amanda Farmer’s enviable MC talents, leading us on this inspiring journey.

A big thank you to Strata Community Association (NSW) and Chambers Russell for putting on this livestream event and allowing Lannock be an official partner – we were so proud to be a part of it.

Cladding Safety Victoria has announced they have reached their target of 200 buildings underway or complete by June 30, with an additional 53 buildings to start in the second half of this year.

There are 700 buildings identified as having the highest-risk cladding in VIC, so whilst there is still some way to go, it shows that cladding rectification programs such as CSV and NSW’s Project Remediate will help protect lives.

The Victorian Government is making people safer from the risk of combustible cladding, with projects complete or underway on 200 of Victoria’s highest-risk residential buildings.

reached an important milestone yesterday with the NSW Government appointing Hansen Yuncken as Managing Contractor.

Minister for Better Regulation Kevin Anderson MP said: “Flammable cladding remediation isn’t a simple process, and Hansen Yuncken will do the hard work on every owner’s behalf to ensure only safe, compliant design solutions are applied to every building.”

The ACT government has released a Combustible Cladding Guidance document to help OCs better understand the cladding related risk of their buildings and the potential costs for remediation (including their rebate scheme).

With this program operating alongside other remediation schemes like and , there is a path to resolving a key safety issue that is plaguing our industry.
