⚠️ Warning: lots of fun was had! And apologies for the slightly longer reel, we just had to cram the whole morning into 60 seconds! 🌳

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Banking on Trees 2026 on Sunday. We had an absolute blast! The weather was perfect, the coffee was flowing, and together we planted just over 1,400 trees. How good is that? 🌱👏

But Banking on Trees is about more than a great day out in nature, good food and coffee. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to loving where we live and investing in its future.

Through our Banking on Trees program, for every new account or loan opened with BankWAW, we plant a tree to help revegetate, regenerate and rehabilitate our local native bushland. 🌳

Through our partnership with Wodonga Urban Landcare Network, we’re helping support local biodiversity, our environment and the communities we’re proud to be part of.

We were also honoured to begin the morning with a Welcome to Country from the Duduroa Dhargal Aboriginal Corporation, recognising the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we gathered and planted.

Thank you to everyone who came along, got their boots dirty and helped us make a difference. ❤️

We’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year, continuing to plant for our future. 🌱
