What a day at WindsorFest!

We had such a wonderful time at Windsor State School, catching up with local families and being part of this fantastic community event.

A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers and everyone who stopped by to say hello. We hope you all had as much fun as we did!

I’ve been hanging out to brag about this, so here we go.

I’m on this bloody cool list, and it’s the second time I’ve made it.

It also happens to coincide with my 30-year university reunion. If you’d told 21-year-old Melanie that, 30 years later, she’d be recognised as an Elite Woman in mortgage broking, I think she would have done a Scooby-Doo double take and told you that you were dreaming.

There have been plenty of twists and turns along the way, but here we are.

A mum who takes her dog to the office, just in case someone needs a little extra love and support.

A business owner.

And now, for the second time, an MPA Elite Woman.

Aussie Windsor is incredibly proud to sponsor Everton Wolves Queensland Community Club of the year.
I can say with firsthand experience. This club puts people first. It’s welcoming and friendly and focused on giving kids the opportunity to grow, belong and become their best selves through the game. We all love.
We love a win, but honestly, this one’s bigger than the scoreboard.
Congratulations to everyone and Wolves what a brilliant way to top off and already fantastic year

What a weekend.

Ruby, Marshmallow and I spent the weekend at the Wolves football carnivals, proudly representing Aussie Windsor as club sponsors, and honestly… we had the best time.

We handed out mountains of chocolate, gave away heaps of piggy banks, spun our “dance off lucky prize” wheel more times than we could count, and watched so many kids absolutely commit to the dance….lots of MJ Heee heee’s too...🕺💃🏻

This is exactly why we love being part of the Wolves community. It’s about more than logos on a jersey. It’s about showing up, bringing a bit of fun, cheering people on, and being part of something that makes kids smile.

A huge thank you to everyone who came over to say hello, had a spin, had a dance, or simply shared a laugh with us.

Can’t wait to do it all again.

Today at The Den, we did things a little differently.

For the first time this season, all of our girls teams played at home, and we wanted to make a proper fuss about it. So we turned our blue and yellow into pink, rallied the club together, and raised money for breast cancer awareness and research.

What unfolded was one of those days that reminds you why community sport matters so much.

The grounds were buzzing, the girls put on a show, families filled the sidelines, and even our opposition embraced the spirit of the day. It wasn’t just about football. It was about community, connection, and celebrating the incredible girls and women who make our club what it is.

As a sponsor, coach, and Head of Girls Development, my heart is very full tonight.

The managers, volunteers, committee members, coaches and families put together something really special. Events like this don’t happen by accident. They happen because passionate people care enough to make them happen.

And our Girl Wolves?

They’re fierce, they’re fun, they’re resilient, and they’re absolutely worth making a big fuss over.

What a day. What a club.
