It's with a whole lot of love — and just a little sadness — that we're announcing the Mad Dash has run its final race. 🏁

This event was never really ours. It belonged to every person who came down to Willunga High Street, cheered from the kerb, volunteered their Saturday, built a dodgy kart in the shed the night before, or just showed up and made the place buzz. You were the whole point.

To our sponsors who backed us from the start — thank you. To every helper, marshal, and behind-the-scenes legend — we couldn't have done any of it without you.

The five of us came together through the 2020 Fleurieu Future Leaders Program with an idea and not much else. What followed was one of the best things we've ever been part of.

We just want to say a massive thanks to all the amazing volunteers who gave up their time to shift hay bales, marshall the track, put up fencing etc we could not run the event without yr support. Special mention to our audio guys who had to deal with some unforeseen issues, our scrutineer for the tough job of trying to keep the teams safe-ish, our 3 fab wigged judges and of course our 2 amazing MCs - Max Mason and Harri Sommers! Great job everyone, looking forward to 2026!!!

It’s a wrap on another Mad Dash

4 out of the 5 of The Mad Dash organising team have smart watches.
Since 5am this morning we achieved a combined total of 114,336 steps.

Its all happening in Willunga this weekend!! 🤩On Saturday our friends at the Rec park are hosting Fleurieu Beer Festival So why not come for the whole weekend and enjoy Saturdays festival vibes followed by a carnival atmosphere with us on the Sunday??🥳
