Business Development Manager - Vendor Sales
OTE $85k+
Base + car allowance + bonuses + super
Are you an experienced B2B salesperson looking for a fresh challenge? Our well-established finance company in the Western Suburbs is seeking to employ an experienced salesperson to service an existing range of referral partners as well as develop new relationships for the business.
Finance industry experience is not a prerequisite, although would be an advantage, as we are seeking a highly motivated self-starter that has strong relationship building skills. Suitable training and support is available internally to build your knowledge of our financial products and services.
The successful applicant must have the following skills/attributes:
Experience in a sales environment working with referral partners (eg equipment suppliers, resellers, OEM’s or other introducers)
Demonstrated ability to develop new relationships
Ability to nurture existing introducer relationships
History of excelling in a sales environment
Ability to work in a small team environment
Comfortable in predominant outbound sales activity (autonomous role with clear KPI’s)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and KPI’s
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
Ability to think laterally to optimise outcomes
Willingness to add value to customers with a genuine intent to provide solutions
Be a self-motivated employee with a can-do attitude
Training will be provided to the successful candidate, but it would be an advantage to have the following skills/attributes:
Experience in the finance industry
Knowledge of commercial asset finance products
An existing equipment supplier referral network
Ability to understand financial statements
Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system
Strong negotiating skills
The position is based in our Williams Landing office where you will be provided full administrative support. As the role is sales centric it is expected that you will have regular face to face contact with B2B referral partners, suppliers and customers as required. You must have your own vehicle with a current Drivers Licence.
You will be responsible for:
Managing a set of existing introducers to promote sales & service their ongoing needs (including quoting, marketing, account management & sales support)
Growing asset finance sales volumes in line with sales targets and KPI’s
Identifying opportunities to grow our brand and establish new revenue streams
Ensuring long term relationships are fostered with our referral partners and customers
Providing a proactive support function to our referral partners
Cross selling other finance products offered by Matrix Finance Group to your network
Managing your diary in an optimal manner to reach sales targets
This position is KPI based with attractive bonuses available to the successful applicant.
