Port Walcott Yacht Club Situated on Ngarluma land, we pay our respect to Ngarluma Elders past, present and emerging. Welcome to Port Walcott Yacht Club! Membership is $20 for the year.

We are a not-for-profit volunteer run club operating since 1973 located in the great little town of Wickham, Western Australia. We boast uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean, grassed picnic areas, fully licensed bar and our famous Sunday Fish 'n' Chips during the cooler months. We also provides opportunities for other local clubs to earn money for their clubs by assisting us with our functions

throughout the year. Port Walcott Yacht Club is a members only club and guests must sign in. Our clubrooms and facilities are available for hire. If you would like to contact us please email [email protected]

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came down tonight and showed their support. We’re excited to announce that the Port Walcott Yacht Club Committee for 2026 is locked in! 🙌

Clubs like ours don’t run on their own, they run on the passion, time and effort of volunteers who step up for the community. We want to give a massive shout-out to everyone who helped throughout 2025, whether it was big or small, it all makes a difference!

So do we! 🐟🍟

At Port Walcott Yacht Club, our fish & chips afternoons are a favourite but we’re always on the lookout for extra hands to help serve up the good stuff.

No experience? No worries! We’ll show you the ropes. Whether you can spare an hour or jump in for a full afternoon, every bit of help makes a huge difference. From prep to serving to clean-up, it’s all about teamwork.

The more helpers we have, the smoother (and more fun!) the afternoon is for everyone and it’s such a great way to connect, have a laugh, and support our club and community 💙

Heads up, folks! 🚨
We won’t be open this weekend — our amazing committee of volunteers have other commitments, and honestly… they deserve it! 💛

We know it can be a little frustrating when we’re closed, but just a gentle reminder — we’re all mums, dads, husbands, wives, and workers too, and sometimes life takes the front seat.

BUT don’t worry — there’s still heaps happening around town!

🏍️ Saturday & Sunday: The motocross is on with two action-packed days of racing and a fully stocked canteen!
🧺 Sunday: Point Samson is hosting the beautiful Makers Market
🏛️ Sunday: There’s also a fantastic event happening over in Cossack!

So while we take a well-earned breather, get out and enjoy everything the Pilbara has to offer! 🌞

As we move into the next stages of planning for the boat ramp progress the ramp will be closed to ensure the safety of the geotechincal team and users of the boat ramp also ensuring the efficiency of the investigation of the existing ramp and land!
