An emerging clean energy company came to us with serious backing and a product already proven in the market. What they needed next was the right funding to scale.

The structure was the part that mattered. A six year term with repayments weighted toward the back end, built to line up with where the cash flow was projected to go.

That’s the sort of deal a template can’t hold. With a panel of 40+ lenders, we could shape the funding around the business rather than asking the business to shape itself around the funding.

A long-term Finlease client in the mechanical and hydraulics space wanted to expand into a new region. Rather than starting from scratch, they targeted the acquisition of an existing business.

The challenge?
The acquisition needed a smart funding mix that kept cash in the business while still securing competitive terms. Without the right structure, too much working capital would’ve been tied up on day one.

So we structured it differently.
Combining asset finance with a secured term facility, as well as unsecured term facility
with the balance contributed in cash.

By leveraging the assets plus secured facility, we helped drive the bank’s pricing down. The unsecured facility reduced upfront cash requirements. Longer terms improved operational cash flow.

Two custom built tilt tray crane trucks sorted for UE Cranes & Transport, now signwritten and on the road. This one took a bit of coordination, with 3 suppliers all needing payment at different times, but we got it done.

Not your average piece of equipment 🔥

Great result for the team at Maitland, helping get this new Washtec car wash funded and up and running.

The equipment was imported using trade finance with a major bank on a 20/20/60 payment structure, then settled onto a fully amortising loan over 6 years to keep things simple and manageable.

Always good to help clients put the right structure in place from day one 💪
