If you're visiting our West Beach branch this month, take a moment to explore the fascinating collection of marine specimens and educational resources on display. Many of the exhibits can be touched and examined up close, offering a unique hands-on opportunity to learn more about South Australia's incredible marine environment and the Great Southern Reef.

It was fantastic to attend the West Beach Surf Life Saving Presentation Night and see so many dedicated members recognised for their invaluable contribution and commitment throughout the season. Congratulations to all award recipients and volunteers - your efforts make a real difference in our community.

It was also a wonderful opportunity for Cameron, our new Mobile Lender and Frank, Branch Manager, to share in such a special evening and show our support for the incredible work these volunteers do to keep our beaches and community safe.

Warming Little Hearts This Winter

We’re incredibly grateful to donate these essential gift bags to the Woman's Christian Temperance Union - South Australian Branch (WCTU) at Cowandilla. Filled with a hand-knitted jumper, toothbrush & toothpaste and a storybook, each backpack is designed to bring comfort, warmth and care to children doing it tough.

A very special thank you to Lorraine Koch for lovingly knitting each jumper - your kindness and generosity will make such a meaningful difference to the children receiving them.

Through WCTU’s wonderful community connections, these gift bags will reach families who need a little extra support, warmth and kindness this winter. We’re so proud to play a small part in helping make a difference in the lives of little people who need some extra support right now

West Torrens Baseball Club have stepped up to the plate this May with their fantastic display in Your Community Corner.

Established in 1918, West Torrens Baseball Club has a proud and longstanding history of developing players, from junior to seniors with both mens & womens teams. They foster community spirit and have contributed to the growth of baseball in South Australia for more than 100 years.

Be sure to check out their display in our branch and learn more about the club, their programs and the important role they play in bringing our local community together through sport, teamwork and connection.
