Congratulations to Liam Wren, the March winner of the Darling Downs Bank / Condamine Sports Club / Town & Country Journal Junior Sports Star of the Month Award!
As part of his award, Liam receives a $100 deposit into a Darling Downs Bank account.

At just 14 years old, Liam enjoyed an outstanding cricket season, earning WCA C**t of the Year (Under 21 Player of the Year), Most Wickets in the senior competition with 18 wickets, and Fielder of the Year for Allora Cricket Club.

Liam also excelled in representative cricket, earning Junior Representative Cricketer of the Year and Western Swelter's Players' Player Award at the U15 State Championships.

Darling Downs Bank is excited to welcome our new Lending Officer, Jennyfer Piel, to the team!

Jennyfer (or “Jen” as many know her) has already hit the ground running since joining us a month ago, helping customers with tiny home financing and rural property purchases of over 50 hectares. She’s passionate about working closely with customers to achieve the best possible financial outcomes.

Outside of work, Jen enjoys building her self-sustainable garden, learning to play golf, and hitting the dirt bike trails. She’s also loving being back in the community and getting involved in the activities that help keep our region thriving.

With more than 16 years of experience in the banking industry, Jennyfer brings extensive lending knowledge, leadership experience, and strong connections stretching from Stanthorpe to North Queensland.
