The 2025 edition of the McLardy McShane Group Conference finished on a resounding note last week, with over $400,000 raised for the Company’s community partnerships and charitable initiatives.
The final dinner saw staff members, joint venture partners, authorised representatives, insurers and underwriters all come together to donate over $200,000 towards causes that are close to the heart of McLardy McShane.
McLardy McShane then committed to matching the contribution volunteered by all attendees, taking the final total of funds to over $400,000.
Throughout the two-day event, the tragic passings of two McLardy McShane team members, Oli Cenedese and Craig Matters, were acknowledged, with the families of both Oli and Craig to be two of the major beneficiaries of everyone’s generosity.
The below is the current plan for donation distribution:
Oli Cenedese’s family - $100,000
CureEB and Tilly Wilkes - $100,000
Craig Matters’ family - $50,000
Reach Foundation - $50,000
Love Your Sister Foundation - $25,000
Soar Foundation Ireland - $15,000
Women for Women in Africa - $15,000
Danny Frawley Centre (Chelsea Frawley) - $10,000
Black Dog Institute - $10,000
The remaining $25,000 will be withheld for future initiatives throughout the next 12 months.
Executive Chairman Don McLardy said:

“We are very proud of the unique organisation what we have built. We are looking forward to new CEOs Meg Long and Nick McLardy and their executive teams continuing to drive the business forward.
“We got a real feel of the power of our combined group at our Conference dinner when our delegates (including all our amazing sponsors) stood up and pledged an incredible $200,000 to support our people and community initiatives that were displayed during the day.
“In all, it was a very memorable experience for everyone involved.”
