Dear Customer, please note that our Broadford branch will be closed on Thursday, 20th August.

A wonderful visit to Wallan Secondary College ☀️🍽️

Our Community Bank Wallan, Kilmore & Broadford team recently had the pleasure of attending a special lunch prepared and served by the Senior VET Hospitality students — and what an impressive experience it was.

The students prepared a delicious three-course menu, including:
🥣 Thai pumpkin soup with homemade rolls
🥩 Seared lamb backstrap on a bed of ratatouille with a balsamic drizzle
🍋 Lemon tart with strawberry coulis

From the food to the service, the students showed outstanding skill, professionalism and dedication.

We’re proud to have supported the College through funding new professional chef uniforms for the students to support their VET studies. The uniforms feature both the Wallan Secondary College crest and Community Bank logo, helping students look and feel prepared in a professional learning environment.

This support is about creating meaningful opportunities for local students to learn, grow and build confidence in their future pathways.

A huge thank you to the students and staff at Wallan Secondary College for hosting us, and congratulations to everyone involved in such a fantastic program. The future of hospitality is looking very bright 🌟

Daniel and Jenny recently joined Rossco to chat about what Community Bank Wallan, Kilmore & Broadford does, why local banking matters, and how our customers help create real impact across the community.

From grants and sponsorships to supporting local clubs, events and emergency relief, it all comes back to one purpose — helping our local communities grow stronger.

Up to 80% of our profits can go back into the community, and as Daniel shared, it’s about more than the numbers — it’s the real-world impact that makes it worth it.

It was a simple way for our branches to come together, have a bit of fun, and help raise awareness for an organisation doing important work for children and families.

We’re excited to officially welcome Jenny Masters as our new Community Engagement Officer across our Wallan, Kilmore and Broadford Community Bank branches.

Jenny brings with her a genuine passion for people, community connection and supporting local initiatives that make a real difference across our region. We know many of you will see Jenny out and about at events, connecting with community groups, local organisations, schools, clubs and businesses over the coming months. Please make her feel welcome.

At he Community Bank Wallan, Kilmore and Broadford giving back to our communities is at the heart of everything we do and we are proud to continue supporting projects, events and initiatives that help our communities.

We also currently have our next round of Community Investments open and encourage local community groups, sporting clubs, schools and organisations to apply for funding support.
